Outdoor potty when it’s Cold outside

Italian Greyhounds are notoriously sensitive to cold, rain, snow, and wind — which can make outdoor potty especially challenging during winter. In this video, I share what it’s like to have an outdoor-trained Italian Greyhound during a Wisconsin winter, along with practical tips that help make it possible. You’ll see how we bundle her up in warm layers, shovel out grassy potty areas, and our “poop tent” that keeps her dry/out of the wind on especially bad weather days. If you’re navigating winter potty training with an IG, this video will give you some ideas to help reduce indoor accidents.
